The Power of a Boy

I tried to write today,
but I couldn't stop shaking.
No attention could I pay,
to anything but you.

Your voice echoes in my mind.
Your words I kept repeating.
On the outside I was fine,
but inside chaos reigned.

I tried to write today,
but I couldn't stop crying.
No attention could I pay,
to anything but you.

My vision blurred, from the tears,
all my friends could sense it.
I became aware of all my fears
when to you, my heart surrendered.

I tried to write today,
but I couldn't stop smiling.
No attention could I pay,
to anything but you.

You bring me pure joy.
There's no doubt about it,
because of you, boy,
I am madly in love.

thanks ^_^ I thought about re-writing it without that repeating stanza, but I decided that added to the effect of the poem
